A Reflection from the Morning After (Elections)

reflectionsI know this morning that a majority of my awakened and intelligent soul tribe will be/are upset by the results the US elections. I was initially somewhat surprised myself…and yet, I understand; before projecting on to something “out there” (whether or not you voted for the elects), here’s a higher perspective on all of this to consider:

There was no “easy choice” on the presidential front… my understanding was that the easiest choice we had at doing this next phase of collective evolution was electing Bernie, and we threw that out the window in June. At that point, I knew that regardless of our choice moving forward, none of it would be what the ego considers “easy.” It was clear that whomever would prevail would be the one to allow the “tower” of our false reality to crumble. HRC really sort of did that when the DNC forced her in to the candidacy, and blatantly showed the public the manipulation and entitlement that goes on behind the curtain. And yet… so many went into an immediate case of amnesia about the whole thing,

For our accelerated rate of evolution, it was clear that we’ve decided to rip off the Band-Aid… and via the president elect (and a majority of Congress elects), collectively look directly into that which we deny still exists within ourselves, into the heart of the darkness we’ve been pretending for so long isn’t there anymore, bring up what remains of our collective self-loathing into the light, face it, to (hopefully) resolve it, once and for all.

No more hiding from ourselves; we’ve turned the mirror around, and there’s nothing there but us.

One part of this – and it’s a really crucial part – is whatever’s left of a continued and skillfully hidden and repressed resentment and fear of the power of Divine Feminine… including in some women themselves, who, though embodying the power of creation, are still ok with allowing themselves to be punished, martyred, and/or minimized into subordination for doing so. This would have been cleanly masked with the election of HRC (even though it was truly Bernie who represents that energy, moreso than HRC). So how to bring the remainder up to the surface and out in the open? Elect someone who appears to be a misogynist along with others who basically love to focus on efforts at controlling women and their bodies, who love the idea of controlling the half of the population (and the part within themselves) that scares them.

We have a long broken system that does NOT address ALL OF US as equally Divine individuals who are part of a unified whole – whether we’re from the US or elsewhere, male, female, black, white, orange, purple, green, LGBT, short, tall, big, small, rich, poor, and everything in between – so what better way to smack ourselves in the face around that but elect someone who appears to be openly exclusionist and biased?

In spiritual development, we recognize that we’re triggered (as in triggering fear, anger, etc.) by someone who in some way reflects something we judge about ourselves back to us. If we hide it from ourselves, we won’t look at it. Therefore, what this election says is that we’re apparently ready to look at all of this straight on, too. That’s been apparent from the beginning of when Trump made it to the forefront as a candidate.

In spiritual terms, many use the term “dark night of the soul” when referring to the journey of self-realization. In many ways, that’s what it might seem we’ve chosen as our next steps. However, how “dark” it is really only depends on how much we judge and are resistant to seeing what exists of this within ourselves. It’s when we can see this part of ourselves with acceptance and from a place of love that we don’t need to have it shown to us anymore… and/or when it’s reflected back to us, we have no reaction but acceptance and love.

No one can take our power away from us but what we allow; no one can take our happiness and peace from us but what we allow. It’s our Divine Right. We choose every day, every moment, in our reality… whether we live it in love, unity, and peace… or in anything else.

As for me, I choose love, unity, peace… laughter and fun… and from that, power. Not just with others in my community, state, and country… but around the entirety of the Earth/Gaia organism and the Multiverse of which we’re a part.

I know that many of us who do all kinds of spiritual work have been accelerated in such remembrance to now stand as a lighthouse during what can potentially be quite a “dark” period of realization for many. This is the message I’ve received for years now of the importance of evolving to be able to remain being “the calm in the storm.” Now’s not the time to disappear… but to shine brighter than ever before!

Guidance has also been for years to remember how to be fully “in-dependent” – to be completely dependent on and trusting inner guidance, REGARDLESS of what the eyes see – because that’s the way to navigate and FLOW through it all! This is what I devote my time to living and teaching(/reminding)… and where we have come to is exactly why.

So, the anticipation of our path of choice is done with; now, let’s regain our centeredness, peace, and love… and proceed. Time to consciously choose where we are vibrationally in EVERY MOMENT, and BE THE CHANGE… regardless of what it looks like around you.

On Shopping on Thanksgiving and PresenCE

PresentsIn many ways, my 19-year-old is just like I was at her age: strong-willed, precocious, and opinionated! She’s a VERY active and passionate participant in conversations and actions around equality and rights across the board, including gender, sexual preference, race… you name it. She’s also knowledgeable and very much an advocate of the environment, living in an integrated, healthy way. Basically, for quite awhile now, she’s verbally been ready to “right all of the wrongs of the world”! Sometimes, her limitation is that she can even be oversensitive to such topics, to the point that she’ll shut down in judgment and righteousness in the middle of a conversation because she’s so ignited and passionate about what’s being discussed (vs. being a productive contribution to the discussion).

She has quite the spark and fire! My husband and I have always had great conversations around these topics in our household, striving always to share a perspective on the bigger picture; overall, it’s great to know that our children are both such advocates in support of many of the things we also support… save for some maturity, temperance, and acceptance with a view of the larger picture that will naturally develop over time and experience and further assist in their clarity and motivation in a productive way.

This introduction to my daughter is to share with you her overall temperament before I talk about the actual topic at hand. It’s because she’s such a blatantly verbal advocate of such things that this created such a perfect scenario for discussion… and it’s not just a great lesson for her, but for everyone else, as well.

Part of our evolution and spiritual development – sometimes, what’s seemingly the most challenging part – is getting past the habits that we’ve repeated so many times over the eons that we’re often blind to them within ourselves. This is the fine print of consciousness, remembrance, and spiritual development – it’s truly “walking the walk” – remembering the whole picture in every choice that we make; remembering the interconnectedness of everything we do, that we, expressed as ourselves, have a plethora of individual lessons that are intertwined with the lessons of many others and of our collective, larger consciousness, as well.

While she’s in college, she’s been working a retail job part-time, and has been an exemplary employee. Last year, she had to work on Christmas Eve, and she was really upset about it since we have a multitude of Christmas Eve traditions we’ve developed over the years as a family. Being newly conscious of the choice between work and fun/nurturing with her family, she was very vocal about having to work on a holiday… and became hyper-aware of those having to do the same. She’s been a great support to those she works with ever since, being part of the coverage when something personal has come up for them (and vice versa).

Last night, after our Thanksgiving dinner and gathering was mostly concluded, she excused herself to go to a friend’s house with her boyfriend because it was the friend’s birthday. Later on, she texted me that they’d decided to go and “try out the shopping.”

When she got home later in the evening, I half-jokingly mentioned to her my disappointment that after all of her campaigning against retail having to work on holidays because of corporate greed and cultural manipulation… that she would essentially participate as part of the issue. Even though I was purposefully gentle in the pronouncement (because I knew it would hit home with her), she looked at me as if I’d slapped her, and her face immediately got red. She defended, “Oh, come on… you’ve participated in Black Friday shopping before…” To which I replied, “Yes, BLACK FRIDAY… which has been ‘a thing’ for a long time. However, TODAY is Thanksgiving… a day that we take a break, enjoy each other, and have gratitude for what’s in our lives. It’s not a shopping day; it’s a together day. You’ve now fed into what you so passionately speak against just by going to the stores and participating… because those people manning the stores are working instead of enjoying the day, enjoying the moment and enjoying themselves and others around them in a breath of presence as part of the holiday.”

Her response to that, “I had no choice.” (Implying that it’s what her friend wanted to do.)

My response: “You ALWAYS have a choice.”

That ended the conversation; she got up and left the room. I wasn’t abrupt or condescending about it; I was simply pointing out to her what she so righteously and readily points out in others all the time. Her defensive reaction was definitely a trigger to her being aware of her own inauthenticity in the situation; I was guided to even gently bring it up as I did because this is a valuable lesson at this juncture in her life, at the brink of adulthood and being in conscious awareness of her own impact on the world – of the Universe – around her.

My daughter is an intuitive, intelligent, beautiful, caring, and passionate person… and 95% of the time, she’s there. Most of the time she gets it; that’s the point of me telling you all of this, because it’s an important interchange, an important experience that shows how easy it is to just be unconscious – even if just for one act, one moment – and follow others and what’s outside of the Self because it’s convenient… even for someone who is typically very conscious of what goes on around them and that interconnectedness. And how, in that one act, what the ego might rationalize as relatively unimportant (and convenient in the moment), when fed into by numerous others via the same “little” act, causes it to become part of a much bigger message that affects (and limits) the many vs. the few.

I’m not judging her; it was, in fact, her choice. However, I know that it’s not aligned with her authentic self and what she believes (the next time she mentions such injustices… I might very well remind her that she’s fed the fire herself!  😉 ). And, as with all interactions, it causes me to look in the mirror to see where this might be a reminder to be and stay fully conscious of my own actions, in all ways, at all times!

It’s a great reminder of how even the most conscious of us will ourselves to go “on automatic” or lock our consciousness – and sometimes our vigilance – in the closet temporarily often in the effort of a) the convenience of being exclusionary – “It’s not alright for me, but it’s OK for others, and/or b) being accepted by others, because of the individual belief that we need acceptance of others to be worthy, and that we have to have shared experiences to be accepted. It’s the same set of beliefs around the well-known adage of “misery loves company.”

We’ve all done it as part of this exclusionary existence; it’s been part of the lessons of separation and duality.

We’re not victim to others; we’re not victim to corporations… or institutions… or governments… it’s all our creation. Therefore, it’s also our choice to feed the frenzy… or not. It’s our choice to exist in a higher consciousness, aware of our interconnectivity… or not. And ultimately, it’s all OK… as long as we accept and take responsibility for creating that… ALL of it. We create it; we can change it. If we’re going to feed a creation… then we can’t claim to be victim to it; and we can’t be surprised when the reflection of whatever it brings to you later hits home to you in another, typically unexpected way.

The more conscious we are, the more in remembrance we exist, the more we realize that every single action we take reflects back to us; this is the former perception of, “what goes around comes around”… but instead of “being victim to” karma, it’s simply remembering that what we create in a Universe around us simply reflects what’s within us back to ourselves, and it will get louder and louder until we look at it straight on in the mirror.

As we embark on the end-of-year holiday season – regardless of individual practices and beliefs – let’s try something different than what’s typically “the norm”: Instead of being panicked about finances, panicked about having the “perfect gift” or an “expensive enough gift” to ensure someone else thinks highly of us, what if we purely focused on the gentle love and acceptance of ourselves? What if we blessed ourselves and others around us with the gift – worth more than anything in the physical – of being present with our Self, and with others, without expectations or judgment? This is what consciousness, awareness, and remembrance is all about. This is how we “walk the walk,” and do it differently… taking away the need to give away our power to others to gain “love” from outside of us because we don’t hold that within ourselves. If we do that – if we can remember the simple act of self love and authenticity – then everything around us will simultaneously change for the much, much better, as well.. and we’ll realize how powerful each one of us really is.

Words, the Arts, and Our Advancement of Consciousness

© Agsandrew | Dreamstime.comOver the past several years, I’ve watched so many, as they step into their spiritual remembrance and realize they’re ALLOWED to follow their passion, favor expression via some form of the arts – whether painting, sculpturing, music of all kinds, dancing, writing, you name it – and REALLY expand once they allow themselves to do so.

For so long, I’ve observed this, and wondered why, as our remembrance of existing in higher consciousness unfolds, this seems to be important. It’s always felt good… and it’s always felt necessary; yet, according to the “3D standards,” the arts are generally a “nice to have” vs. a “necessary” part of our existence.

However, in my heart, I’ve always felt, “Of course,” even though I hadn’t yet remembered why.

My personally favored “art” – though I love many of them – is writing. I have much to write, it comes easily to me, and I know I consciously convey so much more energetically with the energy and remembrance I infuse in my words, than the words do in themselves.

Recently, I came across an article talking about author Stephen King’s tips on “How to Be a Great Writer.” One of the 22 very good points in this article was, “Understand that writing is a form of telepathy.”

‘All the arts depend upon telepathy to some degree…an important element… is transference. Your job isn’t to write words on the page, but rather to transfer the ideas inside your head into the heads of your readers…

Words are just the medium through which the transfer happens…’

Bingo!

It’s sometimes been a little disheartening to see some struggle with their heart being set on some form of arts, yet their mind (ego) telling them that it’s an “unimportant” pursuit in the bigger scheme of things… as the 3D world (friends, family, culture, you name it) will tell them this is so. I’ve watched them get a good start and then see their effort falter and sometimes regress – or go completely defunct –  as their ego causes them to question their worth, and tells them that they would be better suited to “put that on the back burner” to pursue “world-worthy efforts” instead; this assures the ego of the individual’s value in 3-4D society. I recently saw the lamenting of a fantastic artist I know – who REALLY infuses her intuition and Higher Consciousness/Remembrance into her art – mentioning she’d gone through a tough period of feeling down about herself because she was “just an artist.”

So, let’s step away from that for a moment, and observe it. My understanding is that our focus now is to progress BEYOND the “traditional” and REPETITIVE rise and fall of the 3-4D; time to allow the management of existence from a fully integrated consciousness, including from our 5th dimensional Self and above (TO NOTE: Yes, we ALL have that; the 1-4D versions of our Self is just a TINY piece of the whole of our consciousness, and yet, our lessons before now have been generally been to allow the separation-driven energies of the 1-4D rule our experience in those planes, while we’ve just gone about our other lessons in higher consciousness). Now, it’s time to bring it altogether, ALL consciousness apparent at ALL levels.

As I often discuss with others, all “things” that exist in the 1-4D have been Divine tools of expression that we’ve created for these kinds of lessons. We’re the Divine expressed as we are for these lessons. The separation-based existence we’ve pursued here is based from there possibly being something OUTSIDE of us – and we often and mostly forget here that all of that which is OUTSIDE of us is created from the Divine WITHIN us… simply tools that remind us how to consciously and purposely access that within ourselves. Eventually, as we remember that… we let go of the tools.

Words, art, music, and movement are some of the MOST POWERFUL tools we’ve created!

They’re based in the heart; in the intuition; and, when allowed to be fully expressed, allow the consciousness of the Higher Self to shine through… helping ALL who have exposure to it to tap into that part of themselves. It’s with these media that we convey so many feelings and understandings – and Remembrance – that are so, so, SO much bigger than the 3D representations in themselves!

As we progress down the path of our Remembrance of Higher Consciousness here in our 1-4D Self, in the 3D world, my understanding is that we’ve cycled so many times – Remembered and “fell,” to start/cycle over again – that we’ve completed these lessons, and it’s time to do things differently. We’ve gotten lost, over and over, in the pursuit of the mind, the pursuit of separation… and now it’s time to Remember the pursuit of the Spirit, the heart, and connectedness while simultaneously completing these lessons in such separation.

Since the practice of the Arts – of all kinds – brings forward, in its full glory, the reflection of the Spirit and Higher, connected Consciousness… then THAT would make it one of the MOST IMPORTANT practices to honor in the 3D world, foregoing all of the “mind-based” pursuits we’ve come to love so much, in the pursuit of separation!

Why? Because the Arts help us to Remember.

The more we allow ourselves to exist in connectedness and Oneness as we pursue our individual journeys here at the consciousness level of this particularly separation-based Universe, the FASTER we will collectively attain our goal of transcending the barriers on which we’ve previously tripped in forgetfulness. The individual connection to this connectedness that comes through via the Arts, the amazing tools in this category that we’ve created as a REMINDER here, actually help to propel our Remembrance light years beyond any separation- and mind-based activity/pursuit that we’ve created here. So yes, I fully agree that the Arts are a form of telepathy from this standpoint; and in that, I now have the answer to those I know, and to those whose paths I continue to cross, when they doubt the “validity of their existence” because as they pursue their spirituality, and their heart opens to and wants to express itself via this set of tools.

It’s one of the MOST important things for us to pursue… in helping ourselves, and in helping others Remember our connectedness. Are you up to the task of its purity? Just allow…

Having Some Tough Moments? Hours? Days? How to Shift from that…

ThisMomentWe’re going through a lot of deep, deep releasing of that which doesn’t serve us right now, both collectively and individually. We’re letting go of what’s left of the “old 3D” and the “old way of doing things”… which, in many cases, is causing what the ego perceives as a LOT of upheaval in day-to-day life, whether it’s losing a job or a home, releasing old relationships, manifesting a chronic or potentially terminal illness… forcing us to look dead on at whatever’s left to release… to open the door for change and higher vibration living to come.

And it’s accelerating, so we can get to the “even better stuff”!

The way we experience this shifting and crumbling away of all of this old facade is completely up to us as individuals. We can try to hold on, white-knuckled, because we’re afraid of change and the unknown… or we can let go, transcend the “crumbling,” and allow ourselves to flow with it, thus embracing the next steps of this adventure.

I know, it sounds simple! And yet, for many, there’s a lot of fear and kicking and screaming, with white-knuckled holding on, even as it all melts away. Even those of us who are more adept at staying in the flow have moments of being overwhelmed when we allow ourselves to get caught up in it… and have the moments of trying hold on, with feelings of, “Can I really do this? Can WE REALLY do this?”

My guidance, in those moments, is to simply re-center myself, close my eyes, take a deep breath, feel the Divine light coming through from my heart, spread it out through my body and beyond… and remember PRESENCE. In those moments, I also say to myself, “There is ONLY this moment… and in THIS moment, I choose Love.”

Sometimes I have to say it several times until I feel it “kick in”… and it ALWAYS helps! The importance, in the most ego-based, resistance-based moments, is to be observant of such, and transcend beyond what the 3D looks like… going back to our NATURAL state of Oneness and Love. Whether we need to do it one day at a time… one hour at a time… or one moment at a time… it’s re-training ourselves to remember the illusion is just that… illusion, all for the purpose of the greater lesson we set out for ourselves.

As always… please share, below and with others who may need this; we’re all here together!

Much, much love to you,
Angela

Remember the Divine Light is Within

QuoteoftheDayPart of the resolution of our existence of duality is remembering and recognizing that the Divine Light comes from within us, vs. “someplace out there” (the practice and use of this is the powerful basis of Trinity Energy Progression). This also translates to the remembrance that we have access to everything – all knowledge/wisdom – inside; it’s simply a matter of remembering that we can (which, of course, is part of the game).

The more we connect with our Divine Self and complete/release the lessons of duality via the ego, the more we remember in Oneness and Love…and the more we release that which no longer serves us, which is all based in the energy of separation – fear, anxiety, anger, regret, resentment, guilt, doubt, sorrow, and pain, which in turn affect all of the physical, mental, emotional, and environmental in our realities.

This is the journey of Awakening; and it’s the underlying principle of the purest energy healing. Time to release all duality – the energy of disempowerment, that there could be anything outside of us, and/or anything we are NOT.

Essentially… it’s the remembrance and recognition that we are the Light – EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US – and we are ALL our perfect expressions of the Divine in the form and lessons that we have chosen.

The more we release around the energies and emotions of separation, the more we raise our vibration, the more we remember the Light is within… and the stronger our Light shines! This is one of our PRIMARY purposes now: to circle back around to such Remembrance, and remember how to live in love and honor ALL in this existence as equally a part of the Divine. We need to do nothing else but shine our Light more brightly; the more we do that, the more we help others around us do the same… and the more of a domino effect it becomes.

So, step one is to remember your Light within! Here’s a simple, quick way of “tapping in” every morning that takes 5 minutes or less (so no excuses about no time for meditation!): Sit comfortably and centered so you can sit up straight. Close your eyes and take a few deep, slow breaths. Start to see if you can feel your heartbeat… and start to see if you can HEAR it, inside your body. Breathe into your heartbeat, as if it’s your heart that’s breathing. Breathe in, expand… breathe out, release. In, out… in, out. As you breathe in to your heart, start seeing and/or feeling a beautiful, brilliant light coming from the center of your heart. This is your light of Divinity and unconditional love. As you breathe in, the light expands; as you breathe out, release all negativity, all toxicity. In, out… in, out. Breathe in… expand that light to encompass your chest, saturating every cell and in between every cell. See and feel that light getting more and more brilliant! Breathe in, out…. in out… now expand that light to your entire torso… to your arms, fingers, and head… feel this light of your Divinity and unconditional love saturate every cell, in between every cell. E-X-P-A-N-D…. breathe out. Breathe in again… expand this brilliant light to your legs, your feet, your toes… now this light is saturating your entire body, every cell and in between every cell. Feel it fill your entire body… brilliant, beautiful light of Divinity and unconditional love. Now, expand the light beyond your body, into your auric field… feel yourself and know yourself as a beacon of this light of Divinity and unconditional love. Breathe deeply into expanding this light… keep it there, then open your eyes… take a deep breath, and move on with your day!

Here’s a recording of a similar meditation (I think it’s 5-7 minutes), if you’d rather be guided the first few times.

Spiritual Alchemy

How Do You Dream Big? Take the first step…

DreamBigWhat would you do if you knew you could not fail? What would you do if you knew you would be leaving this life or this existence next week? What would help you to live in THIS moment, and make the ABSOLUTE BEST of it as possible? What’s preventing you from doing that NOW?

As part of the Divine, we are limitless; yet part of the game we’ve created and played brilliantly in the 3D incarnation is the creation of and adherence to perceived limitations. Beliefs, soul agreements, disempowerment, you name it! Often, when one allows themselves to dream… they do so with limitations around it. WHAT IF you could surpass even your wildest dreams? (You can.) What would you do… do you even consciously know?

Start today! Here’s an exercise to try: With a journal and a pen, find a place where you feel unbound and you can sit uninterrupted for at least 30 minutes; nature is a great place to do so; especially an established old tree… the bigger the better (I’ve had some of the most awesome BEing lessons from huge, aged trees)! Close your eyes… clear your mind… take a few deep breaths… and just allow yourself to be for a bit. Become one with everything… feel/expand the light from your heart, then spread it out to encompass all around you, like a big etheric hug. Feel the ISness of everything. Just sit there for a few minutes; can you feel the peace? Can you feel the expansion?

After you’ve done this for a little bit (ideally at least 15 minutes or so), come back to yourself while keeping the connection. Ask yourself, if I could do ANYTHING, BE anything, unlimited by anything or anyone else (and without dependency on anyone else)… what would I do? What would I be? And note the FIRST THING that comes to your mind. DON’T filter it; don’t allow the ego to shoot it down… but WRITE IT DOWN. This is for you and you only… no one else needs to see it, so no holding back. Then ask yourself, if I were to entertain that, what would be very first step? Most often, it’s releasing beliefs that you can’t do that; sometimes it’s releasing fears that you’ll fail, that you’ll succeed (far more common than you might think), that you’ll be a “bad person” for some reason like changing your family/friends’ lives by you changing or doing something different. However… know that you CAN attain your passion… and know that ultimately, the only one holding yourself back is YOU! It’s acknowledging this, and then DOING something about it to step in that direction. YOU CAN DO IT!

If you don’t even know how to start… find someone outside of your existing circle to help you, ESPECIALLY to help you to release those beliefs, fears, etc. that are holding you back! Many don’t even KNOW what it is that ignites their passion and makes their own heart sing BECAUSE of all the beliefs in place that cause them to box themselves in to roles they were taught to fill, that they were told are their obligations, that “content is enough”… and in the process, they’ve forgotten what would make them wildly happy, in a place of love EVERY MOMENT OF EVERY DAY.

I worked with a client in her mid-40s to help her release the multitude of tethers that caused her unhappiness, dis-ease, and limitations in her every day life; she had been tethered to filling the role of supportive mother and wife for years first and foremost; though she loved her family, she was literally withering away, like an unfed flower, because everyone else’s wants and needs came first. As we worked on releasing the beliefs, fears, and agreements around all of that… she started to see her own spark again. Finally, one day, I asked her, “If you could do ANYTHING with your life, what would you do? What would make your heart sing?” She hesitated… and I asked her to tell me what had come to mind BEFORE the ego had intervened (and thus the hesitation). She said that when she was younger, she’d wanted to dance; that dancing had been her dream, because she never felt as much in her element, as much herself, as when she would dance.

So I told her to dance.

At first, she balked, “How can I do that? I don’t have the right body; I’m not in good enough shape; I can’t ______________…” I explained to her that if that’s truly her passion, she could – and SHOULD find a way! I continued working with her to help her release all that kept her from that (including the fear that it would destroy her family/marriage).

And she started dancing.

This woman has become a dear, dear friend of mine… and I want you to know that only 3 years later, she has a successful business teaching Zumba and a variety of other dance workouts! She’s also practicing and teaching energy work, and hopes to incorporate both next… to teach a meditative dance class! She’s released her physical limitations (including a number of food allergies), she’s processed through shifting the dynamics of her relationship with her family to one that is far more integrative and supportive of herself … and she’s BLOSSOMED into her full, effervescent, beautiful self by stepping into her shoes and ALLOWING herself to do it! She DOES dream big now… expecting international visibility for wherever her passion brings her. Once we allow ourselves to do so, the doors just open wide and the awesomeness really begins to FLOW!

So, the first step is to start with looking at yourself; start with asking yourself, outside of your every day surroundings, and LISTENING to yourself in remembering your answer. KNOW you can DO IT… dare to dream BIG… and take the first step forward! You can do it!

This is my specialty; if you’d like assistance… as always, I’m here to help!

(P.S. This card drew me in in a tiny, beautiful store called Kizmit on Orcas Island, WA… because this woman felt like me… love such synchronicities! ♥)

What Do YOU Consider “Healing”?

When we are based in the mind/ego, we limit ourselves to expectations that we can only conjure in the mind/ego. When we hear the word “healing,” we often have a set of certain expectations in our mind that can ultimately limit us.

Important to ask yourself, does your mind consider healing – physical, mental, emotional, environmental, spiritual – “the alleviation of uncomfortable symptoms” (aka, “put on a Band-Aid”), or actually getting to the core underlying issues and removing them so the “symptoms” will disappear?

Ultimately, from an an energetic point of view, it is my understanding that “healing” is allowing full flow, full connection to the Higher Self/Divine, without limitations that are impeded by resistance – such as fear, anxiety, anger, resentment, regret, guilt, doubt, sorrow, and pain – and thus, allows experience of the higher vibrations of happiness, joy… and bliss.

When we put expectations around what that will look like, based on what the mind pictures… we often limit the result. Do you believe you can only heal so much, so far, because of ___________________ (your age, your weight, your genetics, etc.)? Do you just feel like “healing” would simply encompass removal of chronic pain? If you hold such beliefs, you will limit your ultimate result to that.

It’s the ego that puts a picture around the word… and such a powerful word it is!

Also, because of the physical element of healing, we often have our mind set certain expectations as to what that looks like… particularly with energy healing work. I remember once I had a client with whom I had one session; during the session, she told me she was in a serious funk because she’d lost her job, lost her home, she was living in one room of a friend’s house, and she wanted to just curl up into the fetal position and fade away. We worked on a lot that day energetically! After about a month passed from the session, I was nudged to send her an email to check in and see how she was doing, if she’d noticed any differences, etc. Her response was that she didn’t think our session had done much for her… but since we’d spoken, she’d gotten a new job, a new place to live, and had met some new people she really liked… and she was much, much happier. As it all did happen immediately after our session, I understood that what we’d worked on together had released a lot of what she’s held on to so she could open herself up energetically to what she desired… it was so graceful and easy that she hadn’t even realized it until I explained how it was connected!

I have worked with some who have what we consider “terminal dis-eases”… and though some may have ultimately chosen to transition, it was well worth all of the work to release all of the weights that had caused them to come into that physical state in the first place… because they were actually able to transition in peace, and now they don’t have to carry it forward into their next life, their next experience, as a lesson still to be learned. Is that a failure to the effort? Absolutely not… as long as we don’t attach our mind’s expectations to it. If we think that death itself is considered “failure”… then we limit ourselves.

We have many, many layers of experience… and thus, in the journey to remember our Divinity, the “healing” is to release resistance that we still hold, assimilate the lessons… and remember our light in unconditional love. What that “looks like” in 3D existence is different for everyone and continuously shifts as we do, but ultimately results in happiness, joy, love, and bliss! The key goes back to flow, flow, flow… as the energetic torus as pictured here, if we are in full flow, without resistance, we exist without pain, without difficulties… and can soar into our “next level.”
